フィリピン　2021年度学費支援のサポーター募集！！英語教育が学費支援に！

AlohaEigoNPO supports teen students from impoverished families in the mountainous region of Itogon, five hours north of Manila.  We accompany volunteer English and Japanese tutors three to four times a year, upon request. These volunteers help prepare students for a future brighter than their fathers, who have worked in deadly mines for generations.

Boys generally dropout of high school when young to financially support their families, so most of our students are girls aged 13 to 18.  We want to help get them into university and later to work abroad.

We need your help, though.  We are currently seeking sponsors for the 2021-22 school year.  Annual tuition is 3,000yen for high school students and 2,000yen for junior high students.  We also help university students. Sponsorship for university  students is 42,000yen/year for four years.

You can select the student you wish to help from the list.  We will get a video greeting from each sponsored student for you.  If possible, we hope you can visit your sponsored students as a tutor.  Itogon is safe for families to visit. There is low crime, comfortable temperatures, clean air, and numerous outdoor activities in the nearby city of Baguio.  We guide you there for free. You pay only your own travel expenses, about 50,000yen for airfare, dining and hotel for a week.

​AlohaEigoNPOは、マニラから北へ5時間のところにあるイトゴンの山岳地帯で、貧しい家庭の10代の学生を支援しています。 年に3～4回、希望に応じて英語と日本語の家庭教師を派遣しています。このボランティアは、代々命がけで鉱山で働いてきた彼らの父親よりも明るい未来に向けて、生徒たちを支援しています。

男の子は家計を支えるために若いうちに高校を中退するのが一般的なので、私たちの生徒の多くは13歳から18歳の女の子です。 私たちは、彼女たちを大学に進学させ、将来は海外で仕事ができるようにしたいと考えています。

そのためには、皆さんの協力が必要です。 現在、2021-22年度のスポンサーを募集しています。 年間の授業料は、高校生が3,000円、中学生が2,000円です。 また、大学生の支援も行っています。大学生の場合、年間42,000円で4年間の支援が必要です。

リストの中から支援したい学生を選択してください。 ご希望の方には、学生からのビデオメッセージをお届けします。 可能であれば、家庭教師してスポンサーの学生を訪問していただければと思います。 イトゴンは家族で訪れても安全です。犯罪が少なく、快適な気温、きれいな空気、そして近くの街バギオでは数々のアウトドアアクティビティが楽しめます。 私たちはそこを無料で案内します。旅費は、ご自身の飛行機代、食事代、1週間分のホテル代を含め、約5万円ほどになります。
